The National Park Service is celebrating the Park’s Service mission, which is to preserve our country’s natural and cultural heritage, the #FindYourPark hashtag and initiative will help people understand that everyone is invited to enjoy our National Parks.
The National Park Foundation, Park Service, and the Department of the Interior are all engaging in an online campaign with sharing their favorite memories, tips and stories.
Children around the country are taking the Junior Ranger oath to protect, learn and share their own stories about National Parks.
The National Park Service Junior Ranger program is offered in most parks to children from the ages of 5-13. Kids must complete a series of activities during their visit and share their answers with a park ranger who will then grant them a certificate.

The National Parks Service wants the public to embrace days like Wild Wednesdays which promotes what makes the parks wild. Participants can take pictures of wildflowers or enjoy a whitewater rafting tour to connect to the environment and learn a little about ourselves in the process.
